Note: The following instructions apply only to users with permission to view, create, update, and/or delete Tasks.
When adding or editing a Task, you can set it as Recurring. By default, recurrence is set to Never, but you can adjust it to your preferred frequency—such as Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or a Custom pattern (e.g., specific days of the week or month). You can also select After Completion, which triggers the next task only after the current one is completed, optionally with a delay.
The Recurrence Start Date indicates when you would like the Task to start recurring. There is also an option to add a Recurrence End Date for a recurring task so that no new recurring tasks are created after that date.
To prevent clutter in your Active view, recurring Tasks are only generated once the previous Task is marked Completed or becomes Overdue. Each new instance is treated as a separate Task, but all future occurrences are visible on the Calendar.
IMPORTANT:
To stop a Task from recurring, change the Recurring setting to Never and/or delete the most recent recurring Task. To modify the recurrence going forward, edit the last available instance.
