# How do I change a user email address?

To update a user's email address, navigate to [**Household** \> **Users**](https://my.ninesliving.com/household/users)  in the left-hand menu. Click the **pencil icon** next to the user to open the **Edit User** modal, where you can update their name, email address, [permissions role](https://go.ninesliving.com/en/support/how-do-i-set-and-manage-user-permission-roles?hsLang=en) and [permission by property](https://go.ninesliving.com/en/support/how-do-i-set-and-manage-a-users-permission-to-properties?hsLang=en).

Once you change the email address and click **Save**, a confirmation email will be sent to both the old and new addresses.

If you are an **[Account Owner](https://go.ninesliving.com/en/support/who-is-the-account-owner-and-how-to-change?hsLang=en)** you can also manage Users from the **[Admin Console](https://go.ninesliving.com/en/support/what-is-the-admin-console?hsLang=en)**.
