# How do I check off items on a List?

To check off items on a List, open the List and click the checkbox next to any item. As soon as an item is checked, Nines records a timestamp for that item and which user completed it. If you need to act on everything at once, use the three‑dot menu at the top of the List to **Mark all as complete** or **Mark all as incomplete** in one go.

Just like Tasks, Events, and Projects, Lists include a collaboration panel at the bottom where you can add comments and attach files. Use this space to leave notes, tag teammates, and upload photos or documents that relate to the List.
