How do I use the weather widget on my dashboard?

The weather widget at the top of your Nines dashboard provides a quick overview of current weather conditions and the seven-day forecast for your properties.

Set up a weather location

The widget follows your Nines property filter, making the same property or properties available within the widget.

To get started:

1. Click Add location in the weather widget.
2. Search for the city or area where your property is located.
3. Select and confirm the appropriate location.

You only need to set the weather location once for each property. Nines does not require you to store your property’s exact address—selecting a nearby city or area allows you to see local weather while keeping your address private.

View your forecast

Once a location is confirmed, the widget displays current conditions and temperature, along with a weather and temperature overview for the next seven days.

If your property filter includes multiple properties, use the property dropdown within the widget to switch between them.

On desktop, use the icon in the bottom-right corner to:

• Expand the widget for the full seven-day forecast.
• Collapse the widget for a compact, one-day overview.

Change or delete a location

Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the widget, then select:

• Change location to choose a different city or area.
• Delete location to remove the saved weather location for that property.

Is the weather widget optional?

Yes. Setting up a weather location is optional. A future release will introduce additional customization options, including the ability to hide the widget from your dashboard.
