What image and document file formats are supported?

You can upload images when adding/editing a profile for a Property, Zone, Asset, Resident, Staff, Vendor, or Contact. Currently, standard JPEG and PNG image formats are supported, and at a maximum size of 10MB. When you are adding photos from your iPhone, these are often in HEIC image formats. If you upload them directly from your iPhone, Nines will convert and support them. However, if you first download them to your computer and then upload to Nines, this will not work. In this instance, there are ways to bulk convert HEIC images to another supported format.

You can add documents and other files on every profile page as well as on the Documents page and as attachments to Tasks, Lists, and more soon. Generally, Nines supports all the standard document (incl MS Office files such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint), audio & video, design and modeling file formats at a maximum size of 500MB. Any files that are supported by your browser, like a PDF or MP4 recording, can be previewed right from Nines, others will be downloaded to your device.
